Hey beauties,

so here it is! Sunkissedstylex’s brand new look. I have been wanting to do this blog post for the longest time; I’ve wanted to show you guys the new look. I am so excited that today is the day that all of you can see the hard work that I’ve put into this blog.

I have completely revamped Sunkissedstylex.

Ok, so the reason I have done this is because looking through at all of my fave blogs, they all looked so professional, clean, tidy and posh. I love it! I think that was why I kept going back time after time to read their contents. Therefore, I thought that it was about time I gave my own blog an update. (If you would like to know more, go and read my previous blog post.)

I would love to know what you beauties think, as this is as much your blog as it is mine. Let me know in the comments or e-mail me.

Is change good?

Hey beauties, so today is kind of a different post as I want to talk to you about changing by blog.

Because you guys read this, I thought it would only be right if I spoke to you first.

Now I plan on keeping the name as it is however, I was thinking if I should do a little update. I want this blog to look really professional and fun. In addition to this, I would like to include things on here that show my personality, such as colours, themes of blog posts and more. Don’t worry, I am still extremely passionate about fashion and beauty and I will continue posting things to do with that subject, but I was thinking on adding a few little bits just to make it more personal.

When/if I decide to do these changes, my blog may be down for a bit, while I make these changes, or it will just happen overnight. Which ever happens, I will let you know when/if it is going to take place either on here of over on twitter @sunkissedstylex. (So go follow me.)

Bigger isn’t always better (Purses/Wallets)

 

 

Hey beauties!

So today I want to talk about purses/wallets (for those in America, etc…). Ok, so in the past I’ve always wanted to rock a large purse. I loved that I could fit so much into it. However, my love for larger purses/wallets has been lost.

Recently, I have been wearing smaller bags as I find it a lot more convenient for my lifestyle in particular. As I’ve been wearing smaller bags, my large purses/wallets wouldn’t fit into my bags. Therefore, I’ve had to change my purse/wallet to a smaller size.

I have been wearing a smaller purse for quite some time now; I have to say, I’ve been loving it! I just love how convenient it is. I’ve been loving it so much that I’ve been out and have bout a couple and I have my eye on a few that I’m interested in.

So, if you usually carry around a huge bag and a large purse/wallet (former me), I challenge you to size down. (You can let me know on twitter. @sunkissedstylex .)

Summer, summer, summer time

I’m backkk! Hey beauties, I meant to do this post yesterday but it was a busy day (Father’s day and all), so I thought I’d  just wait till today.

So, did you guys know that yesterday (June 21st) was the first official day of summer! Yep, it’s actually summer and I’m so excited. I cant wait for the weather to improve, start wearing my summer wardrobe and just get into a happier mood. Also, I’ll have more time on my hands allowing me to do even more blogging.

Pom Poms + apology l sksxTalkAboutItTrends

Hey Beauties, before I start the post, I would just like to say that I’m sorry I’ve been missing. Recently, I have really been stuck for ideas on what to blog about so I just haven’t been inspired to blog. However, last night I was thinking about my blog and I thought, I’ve been missing for long enough and its not fair on you guys. Therefore, I was thinking about different topics I could blog about and I’ve come up with some ideas. I’ve written them all down in a note book so that every time I’m stuck for an idea, I can just take a look in my notebook and I’ll (hopefully) have something to blog about. 🙂                                                      Once again, I am sorry for being MIA x

 

 

 

 

 

Anywaysss, enough on that and on to the actual blog post its self.

Ok , so recently I’ve been seeing fluffy pom poms all over instagram. And to be honest, I love them! I think that they’re fun yet stylish and I’m eager to get my hands on some. (Yes I said some, I really do like the trend!)

I think that these fluffy pom poms were first made popular by Kylie Jenner, but I’ve seen other celebs rocking them. Cara Delevingne, Kendell Jenner, etc…

So I know these that the celebs have are a lot of money, but I don’t plan on spending all the amount that they’re spending, so I’ve found an alternative at River Island (linked below). (I’m sure you’ll also be able to find then on Amazon or EBay.)

Recently, I have become really interested in Celine. There handbags in particular. I love the structured shape of them. They stand out to me a lot; one day I would love to own one. In addition to there shape and look, they seem really practical for me (the larger ones). They are nice and spacious, with a lot of room to fill it with what ever you please.

One of my picks would have to be the ‘Celine Neon Pink Mini Luggage’. I love how girl and bright it is. The second would have to be the ‘Celine Black Mini Luggage’. This one would simple be for practicality reasons. It would go with everything.

Hey beauties.

So I was sitting at my desk thinking about this blog post and I thought I could come up with a segment where I talk all about trends. Therefore, ‘sksxTalkAboutItTrends’ (sksx= Sunkissedstylex) was born. Also, I thought this could be a hashtag for the sunkissedfam. #sksxTalkAboutItTrends

Ok, so into the actual post. I have been seeing a lot of shaped bags recently. Now when I say shaped bags, I don’t mean the usual bags you see walking around town, I mean circle, triangle, ect bags. There everywhere whether that be online, in shops and in mags.

Some people hate them and would just prefer to stick with the traditional bag, and others love them.

Ok, so my opinion on them is quite good. I actually like them. I love how they catch the eye and make people look at you in a good way. However, I would suggest wearing a simple (yet fashionable) outfit, as you don’t want the whole look to be to busy.

Also,was thinking about a schedule for blogging. If any of you have any ideas of what days and how many per week, let me know how ever you want.

Handbag Essentials

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hey beauties, in todays post I’m going to talk about my essentials that I like to keep in my bag. However, I’m not going to talk about the usual items that everyone has like your purse, keys, ect… I’m going to talk about the thing I need with me.

Notebook

The first item that I want to talk about is my notebook. I love my notebook. In it I write anything that needs to be written for example, outfit ideas, blog ideas, to-do lists and everyday notes. Having a not book really helps me as all my notes are together and I don’t need to worry about my phone dyeing. (Phone memo.)

Planner

My planner is a huge help. I am big on keeping organized therefore, I love keeping a planner (along with a wall calendar). I write down everything I need to do for that week as well as putting in on my calendar. However, the great thing about having a planner is that I’m able to carry around my week in my bag.

Hand gel

Hand gel is a must. I hate germs therefore, I always make sure that I have hand gel on me.

Lip balm/chap stick

I suffer with dry lips and lip balm is my best friend. I hate the feeling of dry, crusty lips (and its not cute) so I will probably have about five on me.

Deodorant

Ok, lets be real. No one wants to stand next to that smelly person in the street/shop (where ever you are), I do NOT want to be that person. So I always make sure that I have deodorant on me at all times!

Mirror

Last but not least, a mirror. A mirror for me is defiantly an essential. When I don’t have a mirror on me, I feel so weird. I wear make-up, so I need to make sure my face hasn’t fallen off during the day!

On the pursuit for those perf white jeans

 

 

Hey beauties, today I’m going to talk about white jeans.

Personally, I love white jeans. The crisp, simple, fashionable look they give off is just fab. I love them! I think I’ve always had a small love for white jeans but I haven’t had a pair since I  was younger however, they have slowly been crawling up and I’m eager to get the perf pair.

Ok, so I see why some people would never invest in a pair off white bottoms and I see their point. You have to be careful to where and when you wear them, but all you need is a bit of vanish and your sorted.

Anywayss, I’m currently on the pursuit for a nice little pair however, I’m undecided on what type I should get high waisted, slit knees, ripped I don’t know. (Then again, I might go crazy and buy loads!)

I would love to know which one you have and your cleaning tips for them.

Shoes! (and tips to save money on them next winter!)

 

Hey beauties,

so today I wanna talk about shoes. People are bag girls, shoe girls, make-up girls, ect… now don’t get me wrong, I love all of these, but I think I’m defiantly a shoe girl. Recently, I have been buying a lot of shoes (maybe too many), but I’ve been loving it.

Now that we are slowly (but surly) coming out of winter, many shops are dropping shoe prices, hugely! Yes there are a lot of boots on sale, but when you live in Britain, you can still rock those booties. (Especially ankle boots.) Also, when it comes around to winter, you’ll be all stocked up.

So, I know some of you may be thinking, “what if they go out of style, the following winter?” Well, just simple buy plain, simple designs.
